中、韓戰賽後，大會技術委員林華韋就發現南韓籍的技術委員交頭接耳。根據過去南韓在國際賽的「習性」，林華韋擔心他們會耍手段。昨天南韓籍的主審沈泰爽(Sim Tae Seuk)就毫不掩飾自己的企圖，中華隊投手只要投兩側的球路，一定不受青睞，而林威助打擊時，一記從頭部高度進壘的球，沈泰爽毫不猶豫高舉右手。
總教練葉志仙說：「一開始就有不好的感覺，攻擊可能不會太順。」

【陳志祥╱杜哈報導】杜哈亞運棒球賽昨天上演一場台灣與中國的「台海大戰」，左右戰局的不是美國、而是南韓，南韓的沈姓主審對好壞球的判決相當離譜，激怒中華隊球員，也造成比數接近的緊張氣氛，所幸張泰山、陳金鋒的全壘打壓制住全軍已顯浮躁的情緒，最後以4比2打贏了中國。南韓籍主審沈太石（音譯）對中華隊投手的好鬥爭球判決完全沒有法則，隨他高興而定，主審的判決讓中華隊球員跳腳，在休息區內不斷叫罵；看台上的觀眾也加入譴責，總算帶給主審一點執法壓力，總教練葉志仙表示：「還好我們的實力與中國隊有一段差距，否則可能真會輸球！」吉人自有天相！對於南韓裁判亂搞，中華先發投手增菘瑋卻是一位冷靜、穩定的年輕新秀，控球不急躁，所以沉得住氣，增菘瑋表示：「內、外角的好球根本不被主審接受，只好投紅中，我沒碰過判得這麼奇怪的主審。」
